1. Placing an order

Browse through our product categories or use the search bar to find the items you wish to purchase. You can easily modify or remove items from your shopping cart by clicking on the basket icon located at the top right of the screen.

When you add items to your cart, they will be saved during your visit. This means that even if you leave the site and return later, the items in your cart will still be there.

Completing Your Purchase

Once you’re satisfied with your selections, proceed to checkout where you’ll need to provide your name, shipping address, and payment details through a secure connection.

After completing your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please reach out to our Customer Care Team via email at info@checkmypet.uk.

2. Delivery Time

We aim to dispatch all orders within 5-7 working days. If an item is in stock, we strive to process and ship orders placed by 2pm on the same day, though this may vary during busy periods. While orders are typically dispatched Monday to Friday, we may also process shipments on weekends during peak times.

3. Carriage charges

All parcels delivered to addresses within Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, and The Catalyst, York Science Park, York YO10 5GA incur a delivery charge of £4.99. However, orders over £50 qualify for free delivery. Currently, we are unable to deliver outside of these areas.

4. Your Contract with Us

By placing an order online, you are making an offer to purchase goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. If there are any delays in delivery due to stock availability or unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible. We will also provide an estimated dispatch date, and you may choose to cancel your order if this is not acceptable.

If you decide to cancel your order under these circumstances, we will process a refund to your card within 1 working day. Similarly, if we are unable to supply the item due to stock issues or unforeseen factors, including pricing errors, we will refund you within 5 working days of receiving your order. For more details on cancellations and returns, please refer to sections 4 and 5 below.

5. Cancellation and returns

You can cancel your order and return the product within 28 days of the delivery date. To initiate the process, please contact us using the details below and provide a brief explanation of why you are returning the goods.

6. Refund Policy

If you’re eligible for a refund under these terms, we will refund the price you paid for the products, including delivery costs, using the payment method you used. However, deductions may apply as outlined below.

Refund Deductions

We may reduce your refund (excluding delivery costs) to account for any decrease in the value of the products caused by handling them in a way that wouldn’t be allowed in a shop.
The maximum refund for delivery costs will be the cost of the least expensive delivery method we offer.

Refund Time

Your refund will be processed within 5-10 working days from the day we receive the returned product(s), or, if earlier, the day you provide us with evidence that you’ve sent the product(s) back.
In all other cases, refunds will be issued within 14 days from the date you notify us of your change of mind.

7. Lost or Undelivered Products

If your product is lost or undelivered, please contact our Customer Care Team via email (info@checkmypet.uk) within 28 days of your order confirmation email. Any orders reported as lost or undelivered after this 28-day period will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

8. Faulty Products

If you receive faulty products, please contact us immediately, and we will handle the issue in accordance with your legal rights.
